  1. I bought loads of gear including guitars, amps and also a hammond from Hessys during the 60's. I also knew Jim and Frank and Bernard very well. But my understanding is, the Beatles bought their gear from Rushworths which was over the road from Hessy's.

  3. I own a Gibson B45 12 (1962/3) that I have known since 1967 when the last owner bought it off the previous 'owner' for £50. The vendor said he used to be involved with the Beatles and that this was a guitar was owned by Paul McCartney in the early 1960's. It is a right handed but was strung left and with 6 strings when the last owner purchased it! Was given a note signed by vendor but it has been mislaid, he bought it from a third floor flat in Upper Parliament street. Anybody know of this guitar and it's possible link with Paul? call 01829751377
